TEEN AND ADULT LEADERSHIP
The ATA Tigers program focuses on children ages 4 through 6, and offers a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect and discipline. In addition, the program helps to improve motor skills and enhance a child's ability to pay attention and follow directions, using safe, fun, and exciting teaching methods.
ATA TIGERS: AGES 4-6
Created with kids between 7 and 12 in mind, the Karate for Kids program focuses on lifelong skill building through monthly themes such as perseverance, self-control, confidence, respect, integrity, self-improvement and goal setting. Building on the principles of Tiny Tigers, this program is another sound step in the journey called Taekwondo.
KARATE FOR KIDS: AGES 7-12
Our adult Taekwondo program will help guide you toward maximizing your physical and mental potential. These highly customized classes will teach both the practical and the technical aspects of Taekwondo for the beginner and advanced student alike. We also offer a great many opportunities to advance in the thriving Taekwondo community through state, national and international competitions.

MEET OUR TEAM
MASTER VAY MOSER
Master Vay Moser is a 6th Degree Black Belt who first joined ATA as a beginner white belt in 1978 - thirty- eight years of experience. Master Moser has been guiding her students on their personal Taekwondo journeys since 1986, and is proud to have been a part of so many lives. She believes so strongly in the life changing power of Taekwondo that she has owned and operated Third City Taekwondo for thirty years.
Mrs. Adams is a 5th degree black belt who joined ATA in 1991. She became a Certified Instructor in 1996 and teaches several nights a week at Third City Taekwondo. Becky specializes in the practical application of Taekwondo discipline, ethics, and action - and believes that when a student is faced with the unexpected, they will draw upon what they have learned in the Songham style, and be able to overcome the obstacles in life.
Michael Boersen Mr. Boreson is a 3rd degree black belt who specializes and excels in a variety of weapons forms including the classic nunchucka, kamas, broadswords and the staff. He remains a favorite amongst the children in ATA Tigers and Karate for Kids due to his calm, gentle manner that both guides and motivates his students to be confident and achieve their goals.
Matt is a forth degree black belt in Taekwondo (and is certified as an instructor). He's also a certified Krav Gaga instructor (level 1), and isn't shy about the joy that he finds in teaching his students, and watching them both set and attain their life goals. (He's pictured here with his wife who likes to remind him that he's a mere mortal.) If you have a question about how Taekwondo might fit into your life and help you move to the next level... Matt will be happy to steer you in the right direction.
